Answers to the questions we get asked most. Still stuck? Reach out and we'll help directly.
Is OwlStudy free to use?
Yes. All notes, unit material, and dissertation references on OwlStudy are completely free to read. There is no paywall, subscription, or sign-up required to access content.
How is content organised on OwlStudy?
Content follows your actual academic structure: University → Degree → Semester → Subject → Unit. You can browse by any of these levels, or use search to jump straight to what you need.
Can I find notes for my specific university?
We are actively adding universities and institutions. Use the Universities directory to check if yours is covered, and use the Contact page to request content for your college if it isn't listed yet.
How often is content updated?
We regularly review and add new units, notes, and dissertations. If you spot outdated or incorrect information, please let us know through the Contact page — we prioritise corrections.
Can I contribute my own notes?
Yes. If you have well-organised notes for a subject or unit not yet covered, send them through our Contact page. We review all contributions before publishing.
Do you offer official or verified content?
OwlStudy is an independent platform and is not officially affiliated with any university unless stated otherwise. Always cross-check critical academic details — exam patterns, deadlines, marking schemes — with your official syllabus or institution.
How do I report an error in a note?
Use the Contact page and describe the issue along with a link to the page. We review and correct reported errors promptly.
